Inventories decouple supply and demand

The overall objective of an inventory is to ensure that goods arrive in the desired quantity when they are needed.
Good inventory management is essential since it is responsible for planning and controlling inventory from the raw material stage at a company to the inventory of delivered finished goods.

This course explains and discusses the connection between managing demands for products to manufacturing and the market place.

Utbildningsmål: Kursens mål är att ge deltagarna fördjupade kunskaper om hur man försäkrar att gods anländer i önskad kvantitet, när de behövs i produktions- och marknadsorganisationer.

Målgrupp: Denna kurs riktar sig till dig som vill ha en introduktion i ämnet lagerstyrning och som arbetar som ekonom, logistiker, prduktionsplanerare, inköpare, produktionstekniker eller med kvalitet, lager eller konstruktion.

Förkunskaper: Det finns inga formella kunskapskrav, men du får gärna ha arbetat någon tid inom området.
